It was an absolute pleasure to be part of the team on the first Ed Sheeran campaign. I assited on the campaign from inception and signing to the release of his debut album ‘+’ which went on the sell two million copies in the UK and go six times platinum. Highlights of the campaign included the album being the fastest selling debut album of the year and Ed winning British Breakthrough Act and Best Solo Male at The Brits that year.
I was the marketing manager for Kasabian’s fifth studio album '48:13'. The campaign was a huge success, and saw the album debut at number 1 in the UK with 70K sales. The band also performed to a sell out home crown of 60,000 people at Leicester’s Victoria Park and headlined Glastonbury. I worked closely with the VR company Visualise during the bands residency at Brixton Academy to create the world’s first 360 multi angle and multi audio VR experience. The content went on to win a BIMA award for Most Immersive Experience. The album went on to go platinum in the UK.
I worked three huge singles for Rita Ora whilst at Columbia, selling over a million singles in the process. Comeback single ‘I Will Never Let You Down’ went straight in at number one in the UK charts, reaching platinum status in the UK. Follow up singles, ‘Poision’ and ‘Body on Me’ have gone on to sell a combined total of 600K records.
I worked two EP’s for Spotify Spotlight 2016 artist Samm Henshaw, focusing on development of brand and audience. Samm is one of the hottest stars in the UK and is tipped for huge things in 2016-2017. After supporting James Bay on his huge UK and European Tour, Samm sold out all three of his headline London shows and will support Chance The Rapper on his November 2016 tour. His debut album is due in early 2017.
Grace first came to the notice of the British public with the huge christmas TV synch for House of Fraser. I worked closely with the creative agency 18ft & Rising for this campaign across TV and digital platforms. The ad was ground breaking in that it was choreographed to the track, resulting in a number 4 single and sales of over 500K in the UK.
I helped with the set up campaign for the bands first single 'Blue' in 2016. The band have been played on Radio X, Radio 1 and 6 Music and fans include Huw Stephens and Steve Lamacq. The band are looking to release their debut album in 2017.
I managed the campaign for one of my favourite new acts, Cambridge based rock band Lonely The Brave, working their debut album The Day’s War. The campaign was a fantastic success and saw their audience growth explode, resulting in a sold out UK tour and a top fifteen album.
As a life long fan, it was a pleasure and privilege to work with Manic Street Preachers during their ‘Everything Must Go’ anniversary tour and on ‘Together, Stronger (C’mon Wales!)’, the official track for the Welsh Euro 2016 football team.
I worked with US rock band The NBHD on their debut album ‘I Love You’ , which spawned the huge single ‘Sweater Weather’, the video for which has had over 128million views. I also worked on their critically acclaimed second album, ‘Wiped Out!’ which saw the band sell out a night at London Roundhouse.
It was a privilege to be part of the team that worked on Mike Skinners fourth studio album as The Streets, ‘Everything is Borrowed’. the album campaign was a huge success and debuted in the UK album chart at number seven back in 2008.
I worked briefly with Cash + David at the very start of their campaign for Columbia records. The band were tipped by BBC Introducing and played One Big Weekend in 2014. Their debut album is due next year.
I was marketing manager for Birdy’s self titled debut. The album spawned the top ten hit ‘Skinny Love’ and the album charted at number thirteen in the UK chart. It went on to go gold in the UK selling 185K copies.
I was the marketing manager for awesome Bridlington based singer-songwriter duo Seafret and oversaw the release of their debut album ‘Tell Me It’s Real’. I came up with the concept for the video for the single ‘Oceans’ which starred Game of Thrones actress Maisie Williams, and has over 8 million views to date.
I worked Madness’s11th studio album ‘Oui, Oui, Si, Si, Ja, Ja, Da, Da’ in 2012. Through strategic marketingand careful creative, I worked to change the buying and listening habits of fans to ensure a top ten album chart result and two sell out nights at London’s O2.
I managed the album campaign for the legendary Alison Moyet on her eighth studio album ‘The Minutes’ in 2013. The campaign was a huge success with A list singles at Radio 2 and a debut chart position of number five in the UK, as well as a sell-out UK tour. The album is well on it's way to going gold in the UK.
I managed 20 piece alt-rock all girl choir for two years from 2009-2011. Gaggle was founded by Deborah Coughlin in 2009 and within months had received recognition from NME in their "The fifty most forward-thinking people in music",and were featured in the Evening Standard as leaders in a movement described as "Choir Mania”, The group released their first single 'I Hear Flies' in 2010 on Transgressive Records and won Camden Crawl's Best New Act for the Emerging Talent Awards, sponsored by Gibson. During my time as manager we also undertook a tour of the UK’s festivals and Europe.
I worked with the wonderful US band Grouplove on their debut album ‘Never Trust a Happy Song’ in 2011. The album was proceeded by hit single ‘Tongue Tied’ which was featured heavily in the Apple Christmas TV ad campaign that year.
I worked with multi platinum selling singer songwriter Jason Mraz on his second studio album ‘Love is a Four Letter Word’. The campaign was a huge success spawning the hit single ‘I Won't Give Up’ which was playlisted on radio stations across the board. The album debuted at number two in the official album chart. It has since gone on to sell 100K copies and is certified Gold in the UK.
While at Atlantic I worked three huge singles for Flo Rida, culminating in sales of over three million in the UK and a huge TV synch with First Choice holidays on the track ‘Good Feeling’ . Flo’s album ‘Wild Ones’ was a top 10 record and has now gone gold in the UK.
I managed the campaign for Sean Paul's fifth studio album ‘Tomahawk Technique’. The album spawned the hit single 'She Doesn’t Mind’, which went to number two in the UK singles chart and sold over half a million records.
